After the purchase I found that they are very much used in recording studios, because they have great value for money. Headphones come in one piece, the cord can not be removed. The latter is of spring, at rest 1.2 m and can be stretched up to 3.
The bow is covered in leather and has a small padding that, although not very voluminous, is adequate and the headphones are very light.
Despite the uncomfortable use in moving, I appreciated the transportability qualities. The headphones are in fact lockable to occupy little space and there is a practical soft bag of synthetic material, with the Sony logo.
In conclusion, the Sony MDR-7506 are great headphones, especially considering the price (99 $).
As for the audio I was very happy, the only thing I did not particularly appreciate is that the highs are too sharp and can be a bit annoying.
